The Four Seasons Nile Plaza is the newer of the two Four Seasons hotels set in Cairo’s oldest district. Constructed from scratch, unlike its neighbour the First Residence, you get much bigger bedrooms and a more contemporary feel, with all of the charm and attention to detail as you would expect from a Four Seasons.
Located on the banks of the Nile, the views are pretty impressive from almost every angle. There are numerous restaurants to delight all manner of tastes, and the rooftop lounge is a great place to enjoy the views whilst enjoying freshly made tapas & cocktails.

The Four Seasons Cairo at the First Residence is a beautiful, five-star hotel situated on the west bank of the Nile with impressive views of the Great Pyramids and over the canopy of Cairo’s ancient Zoological and Botanical Gardens. The service is excellent and the attention to detail in the 269 beautifully decorated rooms is second to none. The hotel has a spa offering relaxing treatments using Egyptian techniques, an outdoor swimming pool and a gym.
With a superb location adjacent to the Pyramids of Giza, The Mena House was originally a royal hunting lodge used by the King of Egypt. In 1869 it was sold and converted into a hotel and today, the comfortable rooms are surrounded by 40 acres of grounds. The decor within the Palace Wing is elegant with many antiques remaining as well as evidence of the rich history and famous guests it has hosted such as Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin.
Villa Belle Epoque is Cairo’s first boutique hotel. This historic townhouse, located in a quiet quarter of this vibrant city is set in peaceful gardens and dates back to 1920. Sympathetically renovated, using period furnishings, the new owners have created an intimate atmosphere with just 13 comfortable rooms, each with private balcony or conservatory. Amidst the lush gardens, guests can sit around a fire in the winter or laze by the pool in the summer.
