Entamanu Ngorongoro

Entamanu Ngorongoro sits on the north-western edge of the crater, perched on the rim. This unique location affords spectacular views of the crater floor. The endless vistas that spread across this vast natural depression are greeted by the African sunrise, whilst behind the camp, the sun sets over the distant plains of the Serengeti.

Positioned amongst an area of incredible natural beauty, the unobtrusive Entamanu is built so as to intrude as little as possible on nature. A private access road leads up to the camp, which takes its name from the Maa word for ‘circle’.

The camp consists of just six rooms, with two split by mezzanine levels – designed for families. Built from natural materials and immersed amongst light scrub, these cosy chalets feature indoor heating and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water.
