Chilo Gorge has breath-taking views over Gonarezhou National Park and provides an elegant and tranquil environment with access to one of the few remaining wilderness spots in Africa.

Chilo Gorge is more than just a lodge; it is a testament to the success of conservation in Gonarezhou, against all odds. Founder Clive Stockil still guides from the lodge, which is run in partnership with the local Shangaan community. Such is the success of his community-focused Project CAMPFIRE approach to conservation that Clive received the Prince William Award for Conservation in Africa, in 2013.
