Canvas Club offers a private tented camp in the heart of the Wahiba Sands, where local Bedouin staff take great pride in showcasing their unique region to each visitor they care for.

Travel into the desert by 4×4 and continue by camel back to reach your private camp.

As the sun sets enjoy a refreshing drink on arrival. Stargaze and do nothing but enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Your luxury camp consists of a bedroom tent, Bedouin living area for relaxation and a bathing tent.

A night in the desert is an experience that everyone should do at least once in their lifetime. Deep in the desert, the Canvas Club Desert Camp offers the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living.

Facilities

Canvas Club is a private experience, exclusively set up for a group of family or friends. A dedicated team will take care of your needs, organising candlelit dinners, and taking you on tours of local wadis. Your private chef will prepare authentic Omani dinners over an open fire while you enjoy a drink under the brightest of starry skies. Solar lighting and candles mean there is no need for noisy generators so you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the desert without disturbance. The tents are stylish and comfortable, all having access to large bathroom tents.

Activities

Days are typically spent enjoying the tranquillity of the desert, venturing off to meet a local Bedouin family or visiting a wadi such as Wadi Bani Khalid.

Canvas Club is found in the heart of the Wahiba Sands, a three-hour drive from Muscat. Away from other camps and free of the need for electricity, it avoids light pollution and gives a genuine feel of desert remoteness. The camp operates from early October to April.
