Why we like Boschendal

Dine at The Werf Restaurant, The Deli, Rhone Homestead, in the picnic area, or at a local restaurant. All cottages come equipped with a full kitchen, so why not pick up fresh produce at the farm shop and butchers and prepare a meal from the comfort of your cottage. The focus at Boschendal’s restaurant and deli is to provide flavourful, nourishing farm-to-table food, with menus that shift with the seasons.

Activities

Sample award-winning wines, join a farm tour or explore the estate on foot; follow trails through the orchards and mountain fynbos on foot or by mountain bike; or, sit back and relax as the children experience the natural wonders of the farm in the treehouse. Visit the Friday night market and enjoy food, wine, art and live music to celebrate everything Boschendal has to offer.

Sustainability

Boschendal are inspiring a way of living in symbiosis with nature and actively supports their local communities. Boschendal channels surplus harvest from their farm to school feeding schemes and community kitchens in the Dwars River Valley. In 2021, they donated 32,000 eggs, 5.8 tonnes of fruit and several aid packages.
