Bel Ha Villa

Villa Bel Ha is a delightful four-bed villa on Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Situated in pretty grounds, with a lovely garden and inviting pool with its own BBQ Palapa, Bel Ha is an ideal option for a small family wanting a beach holiday, yet just a short drive away from the town of Playa del Carmen and its shops and restaurants.

The four double rooms comprise of two master suites; one with a private balcony and the other with a private terrace. The two ocean facing guest suites also have en suite bathrooms and private terraces, each with a hammock. Social space consists of a bar, studio, lounge and the pool area outside has a palapa with day beds. There are 120 feet of pristine beach with a private palapa to relax under.

Bel Ha is managed by the excellent 5* property Esencia (next door), so the bonus of this villa is that guests can also use the hotel facilities including their restaurants and spa. The tasteful decor is simply white and wood, only broken by tasteful Meso-American arts and artefacts providing splashes of colour and Mexican flair.

At night the grounds are lit by flares and provide a magical setting to enjoy a warm summer evening under the stars.
