Superbly located on Lion Hill, above the winding lanes of old town Lijiang. Amandayan is built in the traditional style of the Naxi people with accommodation arranged around tranquil courtyards across several dwellings.

The 35 suites mix contemporary and Chinese styles with stone floors and wooden furniture, much of which is elaborately carved. Many have views over Lijiang towards the surrounding countryside and snow-capped mountains. Facilities include a spa, 20 metre outdoor heated swimming pool and two restaurants.

Location

Located on a hilltop overlooking the town of Lijiang and 40 minutes from the nearest airport. The train station with excellent connections to both Kunming and Dali is a short 30 minute drive away.
