Helicopter Tour over the Grand Canyon

Drive from Las Vegas to Zion Mountain Ranch
A three hour journey through Nevada and into southern Utah. Please note that along this route you will cross a time line (+1 hour).
This journey heads east out of Las Vegas along the low desert towards Utah. The small town of Springdale marks the west entrance to the park and is a good stop point for lunch. On arrival to Zion National Park, pass through the national park entrance (payment required) and start driving the winding road that leads through the main valley to the eastern entrance.
On passing through the eastern entrance, travel a further ten minutes to reach Zion Mountain Ranch.
Zion National Park, located in south west Utah, is full of sandstone cliffs, narrow slot canyons and unique flora and fauna. The park has a unique geography as it lies at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin, and Mojave Desert regions. During your visit to the park you may see mountain lions, mule deer, eagles, condors and many other animals in their natural setting. An outstanding feature of the park is Zion Canyon, 15 miles long and up to half a mile deep, cut through the red and tan-coloured Navajo Sandstone by the North Fork of the Virgin River. When not checking out the parks abundant wildlife try a day of canyoneering or a Jeep tour through Zion's incredible sandstone canyons.
